Animal rescue officials are lauding the successful prosecution of a Hull man who killed his girlfriend’s eight-week-old puppy. Todd Craaybeek, 23, is now serving a year in prison for beating to death his girlfriend’s Japanese Chin dog. He pleaded guilty to the charge in Hingham District Court in September.
